Manuka Kitchen, Fulham Road · Spring Menu · Open all day, every day

Every May, Chelsea comes alive. Over 168,000 visitors descend on the Royal Hospital Chelsea for the world’s most celebrated flower show — and whether you’re arriving in the morning or leaving in the late afternoon, knowing where to eat nearby makes all the difference.

If you’re looking for a restaurant near the Chelsea Flower Show — for breakfast, brunch, or more importantly a relaxed dinner after the show — we’d like to cook for you.

Manuka Kitchen has been on Fulham Road since 2012 — just one stop from Sloane Square via Fulham Broadway. It’s an easy, direct journey that takes you away from the busiest crowds around the showground, both before and after your visit.

For the week of the show — 19th to 23rd May 2026 — we’re running a special seasonal menu built around the best of British spring produce: English asparagus, sweet English peas, and spring lamb. Exactly the kind of food that works just as well to start the day as it does to end it.

Before the show: start the day well

If you’re heading to the show in the morning, Fulham is a straightforward place to begin.

Breakfast and brunch are served from 9am, just a short walk from Fulham Broadway station. From there, it’s one stop on the District line to Sloane Square, followed by a 10-minute walk to the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

It’s a calmer way to begin the day — good food, no rush, and a simple journey into the show.

After the Chelsea Flower Show: where to eat dinner

By late afternoon, the pace shifts. The show begins to empty, Sloane Square gets busy, and finding a good restaurant nearby becomes difficult.

This is where Fulham works better.

From Sloane Square, it’s one stop to Fulham Broadway — around five minutes — and a short walk to Fulham Road. You’re out of the immediate crowds, with more space, better availability, and a more relaxed atmosphere for dinner.

For those searching for where to eat after the Chelsea Flower Show, Manuka Kitchen offers a straightforward answer: seasonal food, a comfortable dining room.

Spring Menu Highlights

For Chelsea Flower Show week, we focus on a small number of seasonal dishes that showcase British produce at its peak — ideal whether you’re dining before the show or settling in for dinner afterwards.

English Asparagus

Parsley white beans, capers and almonds — a simple, balanced dish built around the freshness of the season.

£11.50

Creamy Burrata

English crushed peas and a touch of prosecco — light, bright and unmistakably spring.

£13.50

Slow Roasted Spring Lamb

Confit carrots, parsnip purée and rosemary jus — rich, tender and particularly suited to an evening meal.

£28.00

WHY THESE INGREDIENTS, WHY NOW

English asparagus has one of the shortest seasons of any British ingredient — late April to mid-June — and what you get in those weeks is far superior to anything imported. English peas follow closely behind. Spring lamb, raised on new grass, is at its most delicate and flavourful in May.

Chelsea Flower Show week sits exactly at the point where all three are at their best. The menu is built around that timing.

Getting to and from the show

Fulham Broadway station sits on the District line — the same line that serves Sloane Square.

  • Fulham Broadway → Sloane Square: 4 stop (approx. 12 minutes)
  • Sloane Square → Royal Hospital Chelsea: 10-minute walk

Whether you’re heading in the morning or leaving in the evening, it’s one of the simplest routes to and from the showground.
