The Best Brunch Places in Fulham – Why Manuka Kitchen Deserves a Spot on Your List

Best Brunch Places in Fulham

When it comes to brunch, Fulham knows how to do it properly. From cosy cafés to stylish bistros, this part of London has no shortage of options for your mid-morning fix. But if you’re after something memorable, something with flair, flavour, and just the right amount of fuss, then Manuka Kitchen is a name you should remember.

Tucked along Fulham Road, it’s become a firm favourite with locals and in-the-know brunch lovers. So if you’re putting together a list of the best brunch places in Fulham, here’s why Manuka Kitchen deserves a top spot.

A Brunch Menu That Goes Beyond the Basics

We’ve all had avo on toast. But at Manuka Kitchen, they take familiar brunch staples and lift them into something special. The ingredients are seasonal, thoughtfully sourced, and everything — from the sauces to the slow-cooked wagyu — is made in-house.

Craving something hearty? Try the Wagyu Mince on Toast with poached eggs and sourdough. Feeling adventurous? The Duck & Waffle brings together crisp duck leg, golden waffle, and spiced honey in the most satisfying way.

And for those who like their brunch with a bit of a twist, the Turkish Eggs with garlic yoghurt and Aleppo chili butter are an absolute winner.

Something Sweet? We’ve Got That Covered Too

If your idea of brunch includes a sweet treat (or two), Manuka Kitchen doesn’t disappoint. Their banana bread with peanut butter cream is both comforting and a little indulgent. And don’t get us started on the blueberry pancakes — fluffy, golden, and drizzled in maple syrup. Yes, they’re as good (and delicious) as they sound.

The Vibe

There’s a certain charm to Manuka Kitchen that’s hard to pin down, but easy to feel. The space is warm, welcoming, and never pretentious. Whether you’re catching up with friends over flat whites or easing into the weekend with a mimosa in hand, it’s the kind of spot that just feels right.

And that’s exactly what you want from one of the best brunch places in Fulham, a place that combines good food with a great atmosphere, time and time again.

Fulham’s Brunch Scene, Done Right

Sure, Fulham is packed with decent brunch spots, and we do want you to explore them too. Why? Because at Manuka Kitchen, we manage to balance style and substance in a way that keeps people coming back. Plus, other Fulham’s brunch options are worth exploring and our competition keeps us on our toes.

It’s elevated, but never over the top. And while the menu changes with the seasons, the quality never slips.

So if you’re working your way through the best brunch places in Fulham, pop Manuka Kitchen on your list. Actually, go ahead and bump it to the top.

Your table’s waiting.

What Makes Manuka Kitchen Special?

What Makes Manuka Kitchen Special

Let us give you a glimpse inside Fulham’s favourite neighbourhood bistro and take you on a culinary journey unlike any other.

Ask anyone who’s eaten at Manuka Kitchen, and you’ll likely hear the same thing: “That place is something else.”

It’s not just the food (though, yes, it’s excellent), and it’s not just the cosy spot on Fulham Road. It’s the full experience, the kind you only get when a place genuinely cares.

So, what makes Manuka Kitchen special?

Let’s pull up a chair and talk about it.

Honest Cooking That Speaks for Itself

At the heart of Manuka Kitchen’s appeal is its food, which is fresh, seasonal, and cooked with soul. This is a place where the kitchen takes its time. Whether it’s the slow-cooked wagyu mince on toast or the ever-popular duck & waffle, each dish is carefully thought out, beautifully plated, and, above all, delicious.

The flavours are bold, but the approach is simple: let the ingredients shine. No overcomplication, just clever combinations and perfect execution. And yes, everything is made from scratch, right down to the house sauces.

A Brunch That’s Worth Waking Up For

Fulham’s brunch crowd is spoilt for choice, but Manuka Kitchen stands out for good reason. From Turkish eggs with confit garlic yoghurt to banana bread with peanut butter cream, the menu walks that fine line between indulgence and elegance.

More than ticking off brunch staples, at Manuka Kitchen, it’s about delivering them with style, consistency, and just the right amount of flair. If you’re hunting for a relaxed brunch spot that still feels special, this is it.

Dinner with a Difference

Come evening, the vibe shifts, just slightly, and Manuka Kitchen leans into its bistro roots. Think grass-fed 8 oz bavette steak and braised rabbit with chorizo and cherries. It’s the kind of place where you can dress up for date night or drop in midweek and feel equally welcome.

And let’s talk value, because another thing that makes Manuka Kitchen special is that it delivers a refined experience without the hefty price tag.

A Space That Feels Like Home

People don’t just come here for what’s on the plate — it’s the atmosphere as well. The dining room is warm, intimate, and stylish without being showy. Whether you’re nestled into a window seat with a flat white or celebrating with a bottle of wine and a table full of plates, the setting always feels right.

There’s something quietly confident about the space, which reflects the team’s approach: nothing overdone, everything considered.

Fulham’s Best-Kept Not-So-Secret

Locals love it. Visitors find it by chance and come back. And for those who know, Manuka Kitchen isn’t just another name in Fulham’s food scene — it’s the name.

So, what makes Manuka Kitchen special?

It’s the details. The care. The people behind the pass. The food that always delivers. And the feeling that you’ve just found your new favourite place — even if you didn’t know you were looking for one.

Next time you’re in Fulham, pop in and see for yourself. Just don’t be surprised if you start planning your next visit before you’ve finished your plate.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been bringing back some favourites from our old menu as weekly specials. Featured last week was our braised rabbit. This week, a dish returns to take the title of Breakfast of Champions: our indulgent truffle-scrambled eggs.

So, if you’d like to commemorate this special day (or try a very special breakfast), book a table with us here.

Le Lapin Est De Retour (The Rabbit Returns)

Manuka Kitchen’s original menu is making a guest appearance! Over the next few weeks, we’ll be sharing some old favourites from our 10 year tenure. Featured last week were our American-style sweet corn fritters. This week, we’re hopping across continents to bring you a French speciality: braised rabbit!

If the rabbit doesn’t bite (or nibble), browse our menu here. Make sure to also have a scroll through our blog, where our team shares restaurant updates, special events, and even local tips (like the top 10 things to do in Fulham).

Top 10 Things to Do in Fulham

Fulham deserves our full attention. Unfairly overshadowed by neighbouring Chelsea (and the posh people who were made in it), Fulham is a vibrant, trendy borough bursting with culture, history and character. To right this wrong, Manuka Kitchen has put together a list of the top 10 things to do and see while in the local area — not including us, of course.

1. Retrace Royal Steps at the King’s Road

Built by King Charles II at the encouragement of his mistress, King’s Road was used as the private, royal route to Kew Palace until 1830. Now, you’ll find independent restaurants, bijou bookstores and sweet-scented flower shops spilling from every corner of its 3km stretch. Visit No.430 to find Vivienne Westwood’s iconic ‘Worlds End’ boutique, or No.484 for the site of Led Zepplin’s ‘Swan Song Records’ office.

2. Broaden Your Cultural Horizons at Arthill Gallery

Located in a converted church with a focus on Asian and European contemporary art, Arthill Gallery is an underrated spot for those looking to indulge in Fulham’s cultural scene. Current exhibitions include ‘Sensation in Between’, a minimalist exploration of ‘the current feeling of global fragility’ and ‘Changing Perspectives’, a collaboration with esteemed Beijing artists Yangyang Wei and Jingjing Guan.

3. Or Make a Little Art Yourself at the Fulham Pottery Café

Surrounded by bakeries and Italian bistros, this pottery shop is situated in a charming little quarter of Fulham Road. Fulham Pottery Café was set up in 1998 by none other than Emma Bridgewater, and to this day works exclusively with handmade English pottery (including some of Bridgewater’s own designs). You’ll be able to paint anything from coffee mugs to egg cups and gecko plaques.

4. Go Celeb-Spotting (But Be Cool About It)

Fulham’s sparkly SW postcode often attracts a star or two, including the legendary Hugh Grant (often sighted at the Pret on Fulham Road), Nicola Coughlan (of Derry Girls and Bridgerton fame), and, of course, the stylish cast of Made in Chelsea. Keep an eye out for Fulham’s famous faces when you next visit the area — they’re more common than you’d think!

5. Be Transported Back in Time at Fulham Palace

While away an afternoon exploring Fulham Palace’s stately Medieval architecture and sprawling botanical gardens. Housing the Bishops of London for over 1300 years, inside you’ll be able to tour its ornate Victorian chapel, restored Tudor Great Hall, and grand Georgian rooms. In the spring and summer, the red-brick courtyard comes alive with buzzing bee hives and ripening apple orchards. Just make sure you don’t miss the secret door…

6. Have a Beach Day at Bishop’s Park

Once part of the palace’s private grounds, this Grade II riverside park is another of Fulham’s picture-perfect spots. Have a wander and discover its ornamental lake, trendy Rocks Lane tennis courts, and urban beach — the only one of its kind in London!

7. Find Your Zen at a Yoga Studio

Sure, you could go do yoga somewhere other than Fulham, but where else would you find 5 yoga studios within 5 minutes of each other? Each class has its own niche fit to hit every source of stress. Interested in trying out the original bikram yoga? Try The Hot Spot Yoga, which has specialised in hot yoga for over 7 years. Looking for spiritual ceremonies and high-vibrational sessions? Visit the boutique studio space Eye of Hatha. How about Pregnancy and Post Natal Yoga? Of course, The Power Yoga does that.

8. Or Get Hot and Sweaty at a Dance Class

For those who prefer sashaying over stretching, Fulham also has its fair share of dance studios. Manuka Kitchen’s top picks would have to be Dance Attic Studios, which offers classes on anything from samba to ballet, and DanceWest Studio, a community-led organisation that hosts a ‘Tiny Movers’ class for babies and toddlers (1.5-4 years)!

9. Hang Out at This Trendy Bouldering Spot

With three funky floors and a flat daily rate, not even a fear of heights should stop you from giving The Climbing Hangar a go. Entry fee includes group classes and a 15-minute induction. This state-of-the-art space also has a dog friendly café for some post-climb socialising (and much-needed rehydrating).

10. Cheer on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge

Did you think we had forgotten about the footie? We would never. Home of Chelsea FC, this 40,000-capacity stadium has Fulham’s streets flooding with fans every couple of weeks. Even if you’re not much for football, it’s worth visiting around match-time for the electric atmosphere. Next up is Chelsea vs Leeds on the 4th of March.
